A
temperature setting mechanism that is both extremely accurate and simple to
use! This new ratchet setting mechanism allows you to set the Heater
Thermostat to exactly the temperature that you want in 0.5°C increments and
the TetraTec range of aquarium heaters are designed to work within range of
20°C - 32°C. Once it is set, that is all the adjustment that is required.
You can sit back safe in the knowledge that the temperature of your aquarium
water will be the one that you have chosen.
The actual
heating element is constructed from durable nichrome to give the heater a
very much longer life than normal steel windings which is also wound around
a ceramic core which distributes the heat more steadily and evenly into the
water making the heater more efficient and cheaper to run!
The
heaters have an extra long 2.5m mains cable for easy fitting with a Safety
Shut-Off if the aquarium runs dry.
Tetratec aquarium heaters can be fully submerged and positioned horizontally
with electronic regulator for extra reliability and safety. The outer casing
is extra thick, heat-resistant borosilicate glass for peace of mind and has
been TUV/GS tested for safety and reliability.
